For a long time on this planet, I am still busy figuring out how thinking, moving, and sensing interweave in their complex interdependencies, how to notice what makes sense and how all this relates to artistic practices and artistic work. I practice improvisation drawing from a wide range of methods, especially inspired by contact improvisation, and different body-mind disciplines, such as experiential anatomy, Ideokinesis, Alexander technique, and Body-Mind Centering fostering embodied cognition. For many years I have been part of the collective SomEx in Vienna gliding together through a universe of bodywork into dancing and spontaneous composition. This practice is providing a fundamental support to me surviving, especially in these extremely rough times of ecological crisis, wars, and global social and political struggles.
